What better way to visit some of the least accessible points on Corfu than a Jeep safari?

This guided tour is an exciting and extraordinary way to visit the North East of Corfu. This home to the highest point on Corfu, the majestic Mount Pantocrator. Towering at over 900m, it has an uninterrupted, 360 degree view of the island, the North West of the mainland of Greece, Alabania and even Italy, on a clear day.

Leaving the Port of Corfu we drive to the North East of Corfu, where the villages are some of the prettiest and the oldest on the island. From Ano Korakiana the road up to Sokraki is known as the Spider Path. The village, perched high on a mountain side, is surrounded by majestic pines and olive groves.

We stop for lunch in Old Perithia, the oldest inhabited settlement in Corfu. Dating back to the 14th century there are 8 churches and 130 houses that were built entirely by hand, however some have fallen into disrepair and are ruins.

The off road track up to Mount Pantocrator takes in some amazing views and has 27 zig-zag turns, unsuprisingly it is known as ‘Little Switzerland’. The view over the plains below is breathtaking.

The down hill run from Mount Pantocrator is off road and allows for more photo opportunities, not just of the views, but the flora and fauna of the region is quite outstanding.

Swimming is an option once back at sea level, giving you the chance to wash off the dust of the day!
