GLYFADA BEACH
WHERE THE SKY’S BLUE MEETS THE EMERALD OF THE SEA
Glyfada is one of the most popular beaches in Corfu. It’s fully organized, with umbrellas, sunbeds, showers, nice beach bars, lifeguards on duty, water sports facilities and locker rooms. It’s also ideal for families, since the waters are shallow and crystal clear. It is very popular with Greek tourists, who enjoy watching and participating in the beach volleyball tournaments there.
It’s best in the late afternoon and early evening when, glass in hand, you can watch the sun melt into the western sea. If you prefer more tranquility, the southern end of Glyfada beach is more isolated. An excellent choice, at a close proximity to Pelekas Village.
